This is the MakeUp Revolution Ultra Cream Contour Palette I purchased this product for £8 in Superdrug which i feel a is very purse

-friendly yet it looks very sleek and expensive. This product has been going all across Synopticity Productions all over the Tv programe and their Youtube channel resently beacuse MakeUp Revolution has ask Synopticity Productions to be their new promoters for the company.

I feel that the design of this product is sleek and simple the mirror in this palette is amazing its large and to the proportion of your face when applying make up.

This palette has 8 different coloured creams for contouring and highlighting, this palette is is suitable for all skin tones from fair skin to dark skin. The first shade is like a white toned concelear which i use for highlighting my face underneath the eyes, centre the nose and my forehead this is beacuse I am natural very pale which meaning i need a light highhlighting shade. For my contouring I use quite a dark tone which is the seventh colour on the palette this is okay beacuse of how blendable these products are they seem dark on the palette and on the skin but as soon as you blend it out it looks very sutible yet this product can be buildable.

All of the highlight and contour colours are creamy and blend seemlessly which causes no orange visable lines. I feel that this contour palette is perfect for my pale fair toned skin due to the variety of tones of contour and highlighters which means it's a good all year round palette in the summer your skin tans therefore you'll need a darker contour shade which this palette is perfect for. I personally like using different contour colours for different parts of my face for example i'd use a dark contour shade for my cheekbones beacuse this honestly makes a massive difference just have to be careful to blend the contour properly or you'll end up with steaks of dirt on your face, remember less is more. I also contour my nose this can alter my face and give me a more of a narrow nose not a fat nose haha but this is also importatnt o use contour on your nose wheather your confident or not with it your nose is the 3D part of a persons face therefore you need to define it or it'll make your nose look too flat. However for my temple i use a light contour shade beacuse i haven't got much to contour on my forehead if anything I'd want to highlight my temple due to it being quite small, the purpose of contouring your temple is to make your face look more oval in shape this is beacuse an oval shape faced is the ideal shape for make up application. Finally the Jaw line this defines your face more and can easily disguise double chins and really does separte your face from your neck it just gives more shape and definiation to the face.

The whole concept of contouring is to bring dimension to your face normally models and brides wear contour when having a photoshoot or on tv this is so your facial structure is pick

io lights. When contouring it's best to use a matte taupe shade instead of using a bronzer this is beacuse when you use bronzer and lay it over and over again it causes your face to look too orange and glittery therefore a matte shade is recommened. I personally prefer using cream contour beacuse it last's longer on the skin when it's set with powder and gives a more of a realistic and subtle contour. This is beacuse when you use contour in a power form it can make your face look too cakey and false due to the layers of power but also i have a habbit of touching my face throughout the day which means i rub powers off my face which can make my make up look patchy. Therefore I'd recommend using a setting spray to make your make up last power or cream based beacuse remember even though its cream contour it can make your make up slip and slide and power can make your face look dry and patchy too so be careful and go with what your skin type is. Use cream contour for dry skin so it makes your skin glow and moisterised and power if you have oily skin so your face is matte but the power absorbs the oils too.

Overall I'd highly recommend this palette beacuse of how creamy and blendable the products are but also the colour selection is amazing, however this product is rather oily based on the skin which can make you look like a slippery mess if not set with power or spray.
